Books and Boys was created out of necessity—family. As queer men, we are often in environments that lack security and authenticity. Books and Boys is a wholesome yet sexy space centered on queer culture, including literature, art, film, design, and sex. Designed to foster a creative atmosphere and bolster meaningful connections. If you, or someone you know, want to create a safe and fun space for boys to join, then starting a Books and Boys Chapter is for you!

Overview of Chapter Host Requirements:

The first requirement is space. A place to host the boys and have your book discussions and meetings. This can be an apt, a home, a rental, or partnerships with a local shop or bookstore.

The second requirement is the time! The boys meet monthly to discuss the last book read and for a social hour. We also do different programming and events throughout the year that take up some hours.

Being a host takes patience! Having the energy and compassion to manage schedules and personalities is a great skill to have and needed for all book club hosts!
